NCAA DIVISION II NORTHEAST REGIONAL FINALS
*** Johannah Leedham had 31 points, 10 rebounds and Jennifer Leedham had 15 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists as 3rd seeded (#18 nationally) Franklin Pierce upset top-seeded (#4 nationally) and previously undefeated Holy Family 88-71 to advance to the NCAA Division II Elite 8 for the first time in school history.
DIVISION III TOURNAMENT--ELITE 8
*** Julia Baily had 3 rebounds in #19 Tufts' 55-49 loss to #5 Messiah College (PA). Tufts, coached by former UConn standout Carla Berube, ends the season with a school record for wins as they finished with an overall record of 26-4.
DIVISION II TOURNAMENT--2ND ROUND
*** Johannah Leedham scored 30 points, including a school-record 14-14 from the free throw line as #18 Franklin Pierce defeated #8 Stonehill 68-56. Jennifer Leedham added 13 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals in the win for the Ravens as they advanced to the Sweet 16 for the first time in school history. Franklin Pierce will play #4 Holy Family (31-0) on Monday night in Philadelphia for the Northeast Regional championship and the right to advance to the Division II Elite 8 in Kearney, NE.
ECAC DIVISION II--FINALS
*** Kirsty Leedham scored 2 points in third-seeded Caldwell's 83-62 loss to top-seeded Wilmington University.
NCAA DIVISION III--"SWEET 16"
*** Senior Anne-Claire Roesch had 2 rebounds and 3 steals as #14 Amherst lost to defending national champion #6 DePauw (Indiana) 68-63 in a game played in Whitewater, Wisconsin. Roesch finished her career as a tri-captain of the first Amherst women's basketball team in school history to qualify for the NCAA tournament. The team also set a school-record for wins (27-3 overall record).
*** Sophomore Julia Baily had 4 points and 3 rebounds as #19 Tufts upset #4 Mary Washington College (VA) 48-43 in a game played in Grantham, PA. Tufts, which is also playing in its first NCAA tournament, raises their overall record to 26-3.
NCAA DIVISION II--FIRST ROUND (Philadelphia, PA)
*** Johannah Leedham had 21 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals and sister Jennifer Leedham added a career-high 11 rebounds as 3rd-seeded Franklin Pierce defeated 6th-seeded Dominican College 66-54. Johannah Leedham now has 101 steals on the season, which breaks the school's single-season record of 100, which she set last year as a freshman.
*** Jamie Campbell scored 10 points in 21 minutes as 7th-seeded Bryant lost to 2nd-seeded Stonehill 67-58. It was Bryant's last game as a Division II school, as the Bulldogs now move into Division I beginning with the 2008-09 season.
ECAC DIVISION II TOURNAMENT--SEMI-FINALS
*** Freshman Kirsty Leedham scored 13 points in 10 minutes as 3rd-seeded Caldwell College defeated 2nd-seeded Philadelphia University 86-80 in game played in Philadelphia.
COLONIAL ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION TOURNAMENT--1ST ROUND
*** Kelly Heath scored 2 points in 7th-seeded William and Mary's 82-60 win over 10th-seeded Georgia State.
NE-10 CONFERENCE FINALS
*** Jamie Campbell had 4 points, 7 rebounds and Kelli Reynolds added 1 point as #6 Bryant lost to top-seeded Stonehill 90-79. Bryant was still invited to the 64-team NCAA Division II National Tournament, which begins play later this week.
PATRIOT LEAGUE SEMI-FINALS
*** Claire Sullivan had 4 points, 2 rebounds and 2 assists in #3 Lehigh's 46-44 loss to #2 Holy Cross.
NORTHEAST CONFERENCE SEMI-FINALS
*** Brianne Edwards finished her collegiate career with 4 points in #6 Monmouth's 67-52 loss to #2 Robert Morris.

*** Anne-Claire Roesch scored 7 points as Amherst raised its record to 27-2 with a 61-60 win over Bowdoin to advance to the Sweet 16 for the first time in school history. Colleen Sweeney scored 10 points in the loss for Bowdoin.
*** Julia Baily had 2 points and 2 rebounds as Tufts raised its record to 25-3 and also advanced to the Sweet 16 for the first time in school history with a 54-38 win over Mount St. Mary's (NY).
PATRIOT LEAGUE TOURNAMENT--QUARTERFINALS
*** Claire Sullivan had 3 assists and 3 rebounds as 3rd-seeded Lehigh avenged two regular season losses by defeating 6th-seeded Lafayette 62-51.
NORTHEAST CONFERENCE TOURNAMENT--QUARTERFINALS
*** Brianne Edwards had 3 rebounds as 6th-seeded Monouth upset 3rd-seeded Sacred Heart 75-70. Khalia Cain had 5 points and 5 rebounds in the loss for the Pioneers.
NCAA DIVISION III TOURNAMENT--FIRST ROUND
*** Mallory Davis scored 16 points as Utica lost to #11 Kean (NJ) 83-76. The game marked Utica's first appearance in the NCAA tournament in 23 years.
*** Julia Baily had 12 points and 5 rebounds as Tufts raised its record to 24-3 with a 71-67 win over Wheaton (MA); this is the Jumbos first NCAA tournament appearance in school history.
*** Anne-Claire Roesch scored 10 points as #14 Amherst beat Becker 78-32. The win was a school-record 26th for Amherst, which is also making its first NCAA tournament appearance in school history.
*** Colleen Sweeney had 6 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists in Bowdoin's 64-49 win over Bridgewater State.
MAAC TOURNAMENT--QUARTERFINALS
*** Laura Menty had 11 points and 5 rebounds in the final game of her collegiate career as Siena lost to Fairfield 67-52.
NE-10 CONFERENCE TOURNAMENT--SEMI-FINALS
*** Kelli Reynolds had 4 points and 2 steals and Jamie Campbell added 3 rebounds as #6 seed Bryant upset #2 Franklin Pierce 78-65. In the loss for the Ravens, Johannah Leedham had 30 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and Jennifer Leedham had 13 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists.
ECAC QUARTERFINALS (NEW ENGLAND REGION)
*** Seniors Jen Dabrowski (12 points, 9 rebounds) and Tiffany DeRosa (5 points, 3 rebounds) both ended their collegiate careers in #6 Western New England's 80-55 loss to #3 Fitchburg State. Freshman Taryn Belowsky added 3 points and 8 rebounds in the defeat for WNEC, which ended its season with an overall record of 18-11.
NORTHEAST-10 CONFERENCE/QUARTERFINALS
*** Johannah and Jennifer Leedham each scored 17 points as #2 Franklin Pierce edged #7 LeMoyne 54-53. With the win, Franklin Pierce now has won 24 games, which ties the school record. The Ravens, who are ranked 17th nationally, advanced to the NE-10 semi's for the first time in school history.
*** Stacy Boisvert scored 8 points in #5 AIC's 61-38 loss to #4 Bentley.
*** Kelli Reynolds scored 6 points and Jamie Campbell added 4 points and 5 rebounds as #6 Bryant upset #3 Assumption 64-58.
*** Jackie Johannes had 4 points, 6 rebounds and Lexi Allen scored 2 points as #9 Southern CT lost to #1 Stonehill 65-60 in overtime.

NESCAC TOURNAMENT--CHAMPIONSHIP GAME
*** Anne-Claire Roesch scored 2 points as #1 Amherst beat #2 Tufts 59-53 to capture their first-ever NESCAC Championship and earn an automatic bid to the NCAA Division III National Tournament. The Lord Jeffs, ranked #14 in the nation, are now 25-2 overall. Julia Baily had 6 rebounds for Tufts, which is ranked #15 nationally, with a 23-3 overall record.
NE-10 CONFERENCE--FIRST ROUND
*** Jackie Johannes had 10 points, 11 rebounds and Lexi Allen added 5 points in #9 Southern CT's 64-46 win at #8 Pace.
*** Stacy Boisvert had 9 points, 8 rebounds in #5 AIC's 62-52 win over #12 St. Rose.
*** Jamie Campbell had 8 points, 4 rebounds in #6 Bryant's 73-60 win over #11 Southern New Hampshire.
REGULAR SEASON
*** Kelly Heath had 9 points and 10 rebounds in William & Mary's 57-52 loss at Northeastern.
EMPIRE 8 CONFERENCE TOURNAMENT--FINALS
*** Mallory Davis scored a game-high 19 points and was named tournament MVP as #3 Utica defeated #1 Stevens Institute 55-46 to earn the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA Division III National Tournament. Tourney pairings will be announced on Monday March 3.
THE COMMONWEALTH COAST CONFERENCE TOURNAMENT--FINALS
*** Jen Dabrowski scored a game-high 26 points, along with 5 rebounds and 5 assists, in #2 Western New England's 70-61 loss to #4 Colby-Sawyer. Tiffany DeRosa had 10 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists and Taryn Belowsky added 9 points and 5 rebounds in the loss for WNEC.
GNAC TOURNAMENT--FINALS
*** Freshman Christie Iwanicki had 6 points and 5 rebounds in #2 Suffolk's 70-51 loss to #1 Emmanuel.
NESCAC TOURNAMENT--SEMI-FINALS
*** Julia Baily had 11 points and 12 rebounds as #2 Tufts (23-2 overall, #15 nationally) defeated #3 Wesleyan 67-50.
*** Anne-Claire Roesch had 9 points, 4 assists and 3 rebounds as #1 Amherst (24-2 overall, #14 nationally) defeated #4 Bowdoin 71-47. Freshman Colleen Sweeney scored 7 points in the loss for Bowdoin.

REGULAR SEASON
*** Laura Menty had 27 points and 6 rebounds in Siena's 84-81 overtime win against Rider.
COASTAL COMMONWEALTH CONFERENCE--SEMI-FINALS
*** Taryn Belowsky (17 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists), Jen Dabrowski (16 points, 9 rebounds), Tiffany DeRosa (15 points, 4 rebounds) and Kelly McCormick (4 points, 8 rebounds) combined for 52 points and 25 rebounds as #2 Western New England defeated #3 Nichols 62-51 to advance to the championship game of the their conference. WNEC will play #4 seed Colby-Sawyer College on Saturday at 2 PM at home in Springfield. The winner gets an automatic bid to the NCAA Division III tournament. It's the first time in the 35-year history of women's basketball that WNEC will be playing in a league championship game.

*** Mallorie Michalak scored a career-high 24 points, including four 3-point FG's, as Post defeated Concordia 75-70. Michalak played all 40 minutes and added 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals.
*** Laura Menty's basket with 1:45 left in regulation sent the game into overtime, but Siena lost to Loyola 63-56 as Menty scored 13 points.

WNEC is now tied for first place in the Commonwealth Coast Conference with Endicott at 9-1.
